ABOUT Shugart Bates is committed to a comprehensive design approach that combines large scale thinking with the artfulness of a small design studio. We have projects on the boards that range from large mixed-use projects to intimate interiors. Our design solutions are informed by the attention to craft required for smaller projects combined with the disciplined rigor demanded by large scale work. By designing at opposite ends of the scale we engage disciplines as varied as urban planning and interior design to enable the creation of inspiring places. We work closely with our clients to stretch the creative envelope regardless of project size, program or budget.
