History
Off the beaten path and nestled right next to the train tracks, this popular local hangout first opened in January 2006. After closing in September 2020, it was reopened December 2020 under new ownership. Retaining a sense of community and punk rock vibe, it is being reopened by local Georgetown resident and long time GLC patron (and former co-owner of famed Highline Bar) Alan Threewit. Out with the old and in with the new. While keeping in the GLC tradition in some ways, expect a revamped image and theme along with a new and improved all-vegan food and drink menu. We take pride in our faux meats, cheeses, and sauces; all of which are made from scratch, in-house. All of our food is made to order and with lots of love.
