The Bailey's Crossroads Community Shelter serves the homeless of Bailey's Crossroads and Falls Church. It is operated through a partnership between Fairfax County and Volunteers of America Chesapeake. Bailey's Shelter is a dormitory-style 50-bed (36 male, 14 female) facility. During the coldest months, the shelter adds an additional 70 beds as part of its hypothermia prevention center. The shelter's staff includes an on-site housing locator, a community case manager and a medical outreach worker.
