History
Located in the Crane Arts Building, Second State Press was founded in 2010 to provide artists with a professional studio with presses, basic tools and inks, workspace for designing and executing prints, and flat files to store work and materials. By providing artists with the appropriate space and facilities, we are encouraging printmakers to explore and cultivate new work and engage in artistic dialogue with fellow peers in the Philadelphia arts community.
