History
When you hear the word Ninja or Ninjutsu, the thought of black cladded assassins or oversized turtles come to mind. These images fall far short of the true Ninja of Japan. In 1985 I began a quest, a quest that personally took over 30 years of training. This training included a philosophy of peace and harmony and training that includes self-defense, sword and staff techniques that were developed during feudal Japan. Westchester Budo offers authentic Ninja training from Japan. Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi is recognized as a leading authority on Ninja history and grandmaster of 3 Ninja and 6 Samurai martial art traditions that have been handed down from master to student for 800 years.
