Pleasant Street Apothecary was founded in 2003 and in 2009 moved to its current location at 259 Monroe Avenue. As part of a locally owned and operated nonprofit organization, we are focused on providing personalized attention and quality service. Our expert pharmacists are always available to answer questions and provide friendly assistance, and they will take the time to get to know you and your needs to ensure that you feel cared for and cared about. Mark Malahosky joined Pleasant Street Apothecary with over 20 years of specialized experience in HIV/AIDS management. In 1988, he managed the new infusion program at Southside Apothecary, and soon became a recognized expert in the administration of high-tech HIV treatment services. Mark received his Bachelor's of Science-Pharmacy at the University at Buffalo. Douglas Lindke was a familiar face at Southside Apothecary for 25 years, where he was instrumental in developing the first pharmacy program for HIV/AIDS patients in 1989. Douglas received his degree at Albany College of Pharmacy.
