HistoryMark and Matt Levy are the father-son team behind The Levys' Unique New York! NY's First Family of Tour Guides. Prior to starting LUNY! (get it?), Mark worked for the City of New York as a facilities / properties / construction manager and Matt was a recent college graduate with a degree in performance art / poetry. Mark, a native of The Bronx, decided to start a tour guide company because he loved history, loved to talk and loved his city. Matt, a native Brooklynite, joined him for the same reasons. WIthin a few years, Mark's younger sons Gideon and Jonah joined, and now we have a corps of the best 16 tour guides in NYC who speak French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Hebrew, Portuguese and Brooklynese! Early on we decided to set ourselves apart by only offering custom, unique, private tours of NYC - Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island.
