Prototype Manufacturing Corporation is a full service machine shop facility that provides a wide range of services including tool and die, jigs, fixtures, and specialty machining. We specialize in short to medium production runs. Other services include research and development projects, prototypes, and light welding and fabrication. Mission Statement: To provide high quality machine shop services and products delivered on time at competitive prices to our customers. To treat all customer accounts, regardless of size, with the highest degree of professionalism. Prototype Manufacturing Corporation began as a one man, part time business in the basement of the home of our parents, Richard M. and Marjorie Christie. The business was incorporated in 1967 and became a full time venture when equipment was moved into the garage. After several moves into small, rented manufacturing spaces, Richard and Marjorie moved the business in 1972 to our present location in North Tonawanda. Our father instilled in us a sense of commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and superior customer service. To this day, we take pride in continuing to provide our customers the same quality and customer service that was so important to our father.
