Rev. Mark Robinson is the pastor of the Community Bible Church. The building was built in the 1890s and was established as a church in the 1940s and 1950s. The church calls its heritage back to Methodists who came to Long Island in the 18th century. The church's congregation is a diverse church of people of different backgrounds and ages.

The church also houses the Mision Hispana Bautista de Inwood, a Baptist congregation led by Pastor Andres Benavides. It meets on Sundays at 6pm and can be reached at 516-840-7462.
