Understanding the importance of NFARS to the economic health of the Niagara community, we are a liaison and promote communication between the NFARS, the surrounding communities, other local military units, business, and government. NIMAC continues to support and promote capital investment by the Federal government in the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station by increasing the NFARS visibility and calling attention to its attributes among key Department of Defense, Congressional and military leaders. NIMAC works at local, state and federal levels to bring attention to the wide community support and pride for our local Reserve and Guard units. We meet on a quarterly basis and assist in sponsoring such events as the Niagara Air Show. About NIMAC Logo The NIMAC logo represents all five branches of the armed forces with the stripes depicting the mighty falls at Niagara. The C-130 Hercules aircraft in the upper corner is the workhorse of military air transportation and is operated by the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. The continental solider or minuteman in the lower corner represents the early soldiers of the republic and is the symbol of the citizen soldier used by the National Guard.
