History
Established in Alaska while serving in the military. We had about 40 athletes at CrossFit Press On in Alaska. Just when we were ready to expand, we decided to get out of the military and settle down for our family so we took a job in NYC and moved to Bloomfield!

At CrossFit Press On, you will find a family of all types of athletes that share the same passion. We focus on metabolic conditioning combined with gymnastics and heavy lifting. We strive for functional movements and quality of life. Meaning, everything we do in our box translates into the real world. We want Grandma to be able to carry her groceries inside or give athletes the ability to carry someone out of a burning building in an emergency. Our number 1 priority is safety. We live by Mechanics, Consistency and Intensity. We focus hard core on the basics and technique. Once we have mastered a movement and become consistent with it, we increase the intensity (i.e. more speed and more weight). Once we feel we have mastered these movements, we go back to the basics because that is our way of staying grounded and focused. We want to be able to carry large loads long distances quickly by performing constantly varied movements, which is CrossFit. Get in shape and look better naked!
