Located across the street from the Ames Free Library, The Learning Cottage is a provider of professional tutoring services. This family-operated business provides tutoring in the areas of reading, English, mathematics and special education for grades pre-K through high school. Other services include SAT and MCAS preparation and enrichment services. All tutors are certified teachers. Session hours are flexible, with tutoring accommodated in between work schedules, school, practice and activities. The Learning Cottage also offers summer programs.
