Thomas Concrete is the largest concrete producer in Georgia dedicated exclusively to ready-mix concrete. The company has expanded its operations into North and South Carolina. In 1985, its parent company, AB Fardig Betong of Sweden, purchased a Georgia ready-mix concrete company with three plants. Since the acquisition and following purchases and plant openings, Thomas Concrete operates nearly 40 concrete plants throughout Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
