Boca Raton Municipal Services is city government department for the City of Boca Raton in Boca Raton, Fla. The Municipal Services Department provides solid-waste collection, fleet and building maintenance, dredge and street maintenance, traffic engineering and maintenance and storm water management for the city. In cooperation with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County in Florida, the city actively participates in a recycling program, which expanded in 1996 to include multi-family residential units. The sanitation division of Municipal Services provides residential solid waste collection twice weekly. Curbside collection of bulk items is scheduled four times per year for each section of the city.
