Nate Moran immigrated to the United States from the Caribbean when he was sixteen years old. Like many before him, Nate arrived at Bridgeport, CT without knowledge of the English language. However, Nate quickly learned and was welcomed into the multi-cultural community of Bridgeport residents living in the East End of Bridgeport. He attended Harding High School and Norwalk Community College. Nate joined a company on June 5th, 2007, where he earned his Life & Health licenses to help his community to prepare for the future. Nate became a young entrepreneur on May 1st, 2014. Nate opened his first insurance and financial services firm to help the middle-class market with their insurance needs. Nate has been awarded and recognized by Allstate as the top 1% best agency in the country seven years in a row and this year received the Allstate award, Growing to Scale 1st place in the Northeast Region. Nate was honored to receive multiple recognitions from The Dominican American Coalition of Connecticut and a proclamation of his own day by the City of Bridgeport. Also, Nate was awarded by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Bridgeport as Businessperson of the Year. Nate also received multiple Citations from Bridgeport City Council, Office of the Attorney General of the State, Office of the State Comptroller, Office of the Treasurer, and office of The Honorable Jim Himes. Nate has been working for over seven years representing Allstate; he has opened multiple insurance and financial firms in Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbury and Stamford, CT. He has employed various individuals throughout the state to assist him in helping customers. Nate has invested in the community for over a decade by acquiring and renovating local residential and commercial properties such as the Allstate building on 3900 Main St in Bridgeport, CT. Nate’s community activism has brought attention to many important causes. Some recent efforts, Nate was working together with State Representative Chris Rosario on a bill requiring the insurance commissioner to offer a Spanish language version of the insurance exam to have more bilingual professionals in the insurance and financial services field. Nate also supported many non-profit organizations to raise money for children with cancer. Also, Nate is one of the sponsors of Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders and Generation Z Soccer. Nate served as an Executive Director of the Dominican America Coalition of Connecticut for four terms. Nate is also serving for the past three years as Board Director for The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Nate is incredibly proud of his background and culture.
