The company s nitrogen oxide (NOx) reduction processes, which include the NOxOUT, NOxOUT CASCADE, NOxOUT ULTRA, Rich Reagent Injection and NOxOUT-SCR technologies, have established Fuel Tech as a leader in post-combustion NOx control systems, which are in use on more than 350 units worldwide. In addition, the company s FUEL CHEM technology, which includes the Targeted In-Furnace Injection process, revolves around the unique application of specialty chemicals to improve the performance of combustion units by controlling slagging, fouling, corrosion and opacity.
