Owner Danny Bell brings a bit of Texas to New England with Danny's Little Taste of Texas. Bell lived in Texas for a time and got the full experience of authentic Texas barbecue. Bell decided he wanted to bring those experiences with him to Connecticut and opened Danny's Little Taste of Texas over 14 years ago. Bell learned how barbecue is done in Texas. Authentic Texas barbecue means that meat is dry rubbed with special spices, wood smoked and slow cooked. The smoker helps bring out the flavor.
