History
We are the oldest video store in San Francisco, with over 20,000 items for rent. Colin and Gwen are the 3rd owners of this store, having taken over in 2005. We rent to customers all the bay area, and we also have copies of recent movies for sale.
Specialties
Movies (DVD, BLU and VHS), TV and Playstation 2 and 3 game rentals. We specialize in hard to get elsewhere movies. The vast majority of what we rent out is NOT available on ANY streaming service, and never will be. Some of our collection highlights include extensive Foreign, Documentary, Film Noir, Animation, TV, Criterion and British sections. Our curated collection of excellent titles is sure to have something you want, and our expertise in matching your mood with our collection ensures you will get something good at the very least! Our collection spans 90 years of cinema history, and has grown to 20,000 items since we opened in 1983. No more Beta-Max or Laser Disc, however. ;-)
