History
The Imaginists Theatre Collective (ITC) was founded by Brent Lindsay and Amy Pinto. After 10 years performing with Knights of Indulgence Theatre United States (KITUS), Brent and Amy ventured out on their own. They began teaching youth ensemble classes to kids ages 9 - 18 in Healdsburg, CA. While in Healdsburg, they created and performed community pieces such as, The Living Theatre Project and The Divide/La Dvision. In 2008, ITC moved to it's current location in Santa Rosa, CA. The Imaginists expanded their theatre by adding a professional adult ensemble troupe, Project 104. In addition, The Imaginists perform 2-3 bilingual, Spanish and English, show each year. Including the groundbreaking, The Art is Medicine Show, a bilngual, traveling, bicycle show. The Imaginists bring original, innovative, compelling, edgy, experimental and thought-provoking theatre to Sonoma County.
