In June 1977, the Santa Cruz Community Credit Union opened its first savings accounts and embarked on what is now over three decades of community service. The founders of SCCCU crafted our guiding principle on improving the quality of life for everyone in our community. We believe in empowering those who have been marginalized by the status quo. Together with our community, SCCCU has attained remarkable achievements by maintaining a steadfast commitment to our mission to promote positive social and economic change.
