This organization started in 1982 and was a part of a sociology class that the founder Susan Silber taught at Cal. State Northridge. The Mission is a simple one- each person can make a difference and if the community will work together great actions can make a big difference. The Class put together holiday baskets for persons and families in need in Los Angeles. One Voice is a national organization that includes individuals, schools, businesses, civic organizations and service clubs.
