Under Pam Robinson as the interim PCRS director, the Parks division manages the city's parks and green spaces and is dedicated to the development, maintenance and renovation of all landscaped median strips, parkways and other landscaped city areas.
Per the city's Municipal Code, five Culver City residents preside over the Parks and Division Commission, which serves in an advisory capacity for the City Council in matters relating to recreation, parks and playgrounds. This commission also investigates the city's requirements regarding park, playground and recreation facilities, as well as the possibilities of parkway beautification and tree planting, and makes recommendations for the proper care of such green spaces.
